Sunfoof Rattle When Open?

My 5th gens sunroof rattles a bit when going over bumps. Does anyone know the cause and the solution?

i know you can fit some shims to a 4th gen sunroof - so im presumming you can do the same to a 5th gen - that should sort the rattle out - i did have quite a few of them but think i gave them to @indigolemon so he will have some and i will see if ive got any left that you can have.

Those shims are actually for aligning the glass level with the roof when its closed

Dunno if theyd help with a rattle tho

I think they are mainly to level out the mech though aren't they?
I have a little rattle from mine too, but I think it's from the 'legs' in the channels

Don't know, but wondering if it's the slides/runners being a bit worn and dry?
Might be worth a try adding some grease to then? (the grease might take up some of the wear gap and damp out any rattle)

but as i dont have a sunroof its most unlikely that i know anything more about them than you do
