mate you should have given me a shout about this - we could have helped you out getting parts and getting the timing belt done (with your help of course) at out workshop - it is a long journey but would have saved you £££'s compared to a garage and you could have learned how to do the timing belt yourself in the future.

im not knocking what youve done - you could go the manual tensioner route and get it all for under £200 - i put up a list of prices and part numbers when i did the timing belt on my lude - it should be in my lude profile thread

timing belt and water pump kit on H-tune is listed as £119.98 (excl. tensioner).
They don't list auto tensioner (contact them for a price?). Manual kit is listed as (£89.99).
FWIW, I stuck with auto on my UKDM and will do the same on the JDM too (done 20-odd years without problem and the engines aren't being heavily modded)
