Looking sweet bud - you didn't hang about getting them fitted then!

Good catching up again today and cheers for the axle stands - I've joined the realms of Nathan with a no-wheeled lude now! :(
Hopefully won't be long till I sort the other set.

One rare kit away from being mini me lude!

cheers guys :D

lol yeah it does resemble robs car quite abit now  but as far as aesthetics go its pretty much done! more power/handling from now on 8-)

just another little update though!

finally plucked up the courage to solder my chip in today! it was uber fiddly hense why ive been putting it off for a few months now

anyway, got the soldering iron out and was done within 20 minutes or so! it is deffo easier to cut the old chip out, leaving the pins intact then pulling the pins out with tweezers while heating the solder around them, then to remove the solder i used one of these
Image

didnt think to take a pic of the finished product until it was back in the car so excuse the quality
Image

while i was at it i moved my speedo converter from my vss to behind my dash so now i have vtec in first and no 112 speed limiter! which was the first thing i tested after fitting the chip and fook me it flies past 112....alot past 112 :ugeek:

cheers for the good comments, next on the list is the retrim 8-)

... on a private road I assume? ;-)

Nice job, and definitely makes sense to put the converter after the ECU when you're chipped :)

luckily i live behind a disused runway so i was able to test it on, im banging the land owners wife so i got permission pretty easily  (that was a joke if my mrs reads this lol)

yeah i cant believe people dont just fit them after the ecu anyway?! it was easier to fit the module behind the dash than it was to remove it from the vss

If anyone was a psychology major they could probably learn a lot about the denizens of this forum by looking at the (usually sexual) comments

Nice one on banging the wi- I mean the runway, that's awesome to have that 8-)

I need to pluck up the courage (or is it the can-be-botheredness?) to replace a few capacitors on an old monitor of mine
