The IM looks much better in gold than I imagined

Have you considered doing the valve cover gold as well, to look like one solid gold lump? I generally prefer valve covers to be a different colour to the body colour, so would opt for either gold or black, but I'm sure this being done as well as you're doing it it'll look good no matter what colour you choose

I think that would be too much. My plan is a Cassis Read Pearl rocker cover at the moment. I did want to try and have gold lettering but I think it would be too hard to pull off.

Remember once the engine and gearbox is in place the gold will be less visible as it will be covered in black pipes and exhaust manifold etc.... so the gold wont be screaming GOLD.
