Finally got some new tyres fitted to the car (Rainsport 2 - 215/45/17) so I could actually take it out on the road again!
Unfortunately the exhaust still scuffs when clearing the higher speed bumps in town, even at 5mph, but it does clear the shallow ones at low speed. The ride is a little more comfortable, but still too stiff. Need to go a good 15-20mm higher and a fair bit softer to survive 'round here. I seriously pissed off some dude behind me going down a 1 mile stretch of speed bump infested road, dropping to about 4mph every 40 metres or so.
I'm feeling a little grinding feedback through the clutch pedal when shifting, and getting some judder on reverse & pulling away from standing, so I fear some clutch shenanigans will be needed pretty soon - unless I just can't drive this thing.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.
