So you're going to use a right hand drive handbrake with right hand side facelift centre console? So the linkage isn't an issue as you should be able to use the standard linkage as everything will need to be positioned where it should be (I have no idea what that other guy is doing
), but it's the mounting holes for the handbrake that's the issue? I think the easiest and best way to go about it is to actually remove the pressed metal structure from a facelift model (by drilling out the spot welds), doing the same to yours, and then welding in the transplant piece. It is a fair amount of work I'm afraid.

The other guy is installing a LHD centre console on his LHD car.
Jonja is doing the opposite. RHD centre console on his LHD car. His choice, others do it aswell.
One option is to remove the one metal sheet and spot weld on the right one. Sure a piece of work, but doable.
Other is to make it work trying to drill correct mounting holes.
It takes effort and dedication to make something different. This is what we call, custom work
Good luck mate !
Edit: @NafemanNathan The linkage is not correct since he want to change his pre facelift handbrake to a RHD facelift hand brake. The issues he is confronting is that there are no mounting holes. It is possible to do the conversion when he is twisting the linkage. In that case he doesn't need facelift linkage.

Yep, well aware of that bud. I was just going by that first picture he posted up of just the dodgy linkage. It just took a couple of posts to actually establish what Deniss actually wantedEdson wrote:Edit: @NafemanNathan The linkage is not correct since he want to change his pre facelift handbrake to a RHD facelift hand brake. Ok, here are the only pics I have of how Lee did it. He drilled and cut the 2nd skin of the tunnel from my 95 UK donar shell and welded it back in as you can see in the pic. Perfect job.
