What brake pads are you going to run?
Pretty sure ammo said it had new predator pads before last MoT and they all look new all round so ill see how they go.
I've just finished putting the seats and harnesses in via street light, its bloody dark out now so no pics I'm afraid my other Lude is now on axle stands as I've robbed 2 wheels off as back ups. They also have brand new toyo t1r's on. Got the oil and filter change done today as well but not the radiator. It doesn't leak just looks very tired.
Heading off at 7am so will get a load of pics couldn't ask for a better weather forecast to loose my track virginity too :) lol

What an amazing day, i really enjoyed myself, my mate who was a passenger all day said it was the best day out he had had in years. The sun was shining all day. We arrived at combe at 8am with my mates in their 2 bmw 330 e46's and met a friend of theirs with a mr2 there. I think there was around 50 cars there not a single vauxhall and i dont recall seeing any other honda's and only 1 ford which had a bad meeting with a chicane.
The car handled really well and pulled really well compared to some of the oher cars out there. I know some of them were probably not pushing as hard as i was but i got the impression that standard lotus elises are not that fast on this track as i went past a fair few of them.
It was an open pit lane day run by motor sport vision. we were split into 3 15 mins sessions at the start where we followed an instructor round for 3 laps to learn the track then 15mins doing what you want, after the 3 sessions about 15 cars at atime were allowed on track then as 1 came in you could go out. I was doing about 6-7 laps at a time but i found my brakes getting to hot and vibrating on about the 5th - 6th lap. one of the instructors told me its probably that im breaking for too long and not hard enough as im still driving like i do on the road so i need to get better at that. im planning on upgrading the brake fluid and lines as well to try and help with this. anyway thats enough rambling heres some pics.

heres me on the same corner i was in 4th at around 6 - 7000rpm not sure on speed was close to the 180kph had to change to 5th just as i straightened up then hard on the brakes at the top of the hill. the m coupe behind only gained in the corners i kept pulling away on the straights :)

Good work! :D

It's a really fast & tricky circuit to use
as a newbie.
