That one is an attachment which you use a drill to power.

I have the Kestrel DAS-6 Pro. Same as the normal DAS-6 but with a more powerful motor, meaning less work required.

Most of the DA polishers are this one, but rebranded and an extra price tag on top to pay for the name.

The DAS-6 pro is around £130, the regular DAS-6 is around £90

is it ok to use the drill power one? :?

don't DA polishers spin one way then another? so not to wear down the paint

Nope, DA means the pad spins, and also oscillates so the pad moves around.

A normal rotary polisher just spins on an axle.

I really wouldn't bother with the drill attachment one, for the extra £30 get a proper one!

I didn't realise that was a drill attachment, I did a Nitin and didn't read the advert.

Yeah, and so are the branded models too

Dodo Juice Buff Daddy - £99.95

Don't forget though, to do the job properly you'll need a range of pads, in different sizes (and the backing plates to go with those sizes), the polishing compounds, etc etc.

It's not just a case of buy the polisher and that's it. Think I spent around £250 when I bought mine and all required accessories.
