Cheers mate It was good fun. I did in my ep3 type r last year and was getting 15s. First time in the lude glad it made good viewing!Drax wrote:your car was great down the strip mate! enjoyed watching you, jon and mart do some great runs

My best was 14.7 I was well chuffed with that for my first time in the lude and considering the little work its had compared to others on here that was good enough for me until do some more work to it. Got lots more plans for future runs its a work in progress with a little budget. Always up for ideas if any ones got anycraig_jdm wrote:Looks really good matewhat was your time on the strip out of curiosity

Cheers mate, I wasn't sure at first. I ended up doing it while it was getting dark but by the time it was morning the colour difference between the bumper and wings is pretty close! Just needs a wet sand and a good scrub up to make it nice and shiny as the spray paint is quite ruff.

Re: Edu's 92 4th Gen 2.2 Import
Update..
Had a great day in the heat with @ddoubledanny earlier. Got a few jobs done, and found out some interesting stuff.
First decided to install the volt meter gauge that danny very kindly donated to me. Few pics of installing it.. took longer than we expected due to a few wiring issues..

I had also broke my cigarette lighter socket when I redecorated the centre console in silver the other week. Dont think I put this on here, oh and when I sprayed the wheels also. So spent quite a long time wiring up the new socket! Pain in the ass!!
Next was on to try and work out why the fuse for my break lights keep blowing. Its a 15Amp fuse and it seems to blow every time it rains or I was the car. Danny thought it could be water getting into the rear brake ligths.. we soon worked out it wasn't that. Thought it could be water in my high level "Prelude Light", Nope! Then we took the struts apart and covered the car in water.. nope not that either, after quite some time looking every where we could think we found what we believe could be the problem!

Think we cracked it, this is the lip for the boot seal, its completed rusted away and when it rains it goes everywhere under the rear arch! Also the hole where I had the ariel had a bung in it, that was leaking so now its patched up until I fill it in as that was just letting water through as fast as it went in!
We also took off the rear window wiper and bunged the rear window so now its looking a lot smarter. Unfortunately I dont have any pictures of the volt meter working, nor the rear window but had a great day and still lots more work to come to get it looking better!
