Could be worse, I could have it on the road and have to walk up to it everyday and stare at that hideous face of a 5th gen!honda-hardy wrote:re-edited to reflect robs gleeful reply.honda-hardy wrote:And now, angry ticks fire out of my nipples.nucleustylzlude wrote:Nice to see her out in the open, more and more projects are really motivating me to open the garage door, look at the really sad and neglected lonely face of the lude, open a few dusty boxes, then close the garage door, go back inside and put my feet up. Aye mate. They're not going anywhere, but I'll still swap them over when they arrive.

2013 - 4 Wheel Alignment
Post by Kawa » Tue Jul 23, 2013 9:01 pm
The back end was stepping out a little bit on the "3rd world country" potholes around here, so had 4 wheel alignment done today. Makes a lot of difference !!

I've had the engine check light come on ever since I put my new engine in, but only after 10 or 15 minutes running. Problem was I was not getting a CEL code..
Referring of the manual, this means either a wiring fault or problem ECU. Recently, but only in the last 2 weeks, my Apexi RSM decided to give up on me...After dismantling the dash and checking power to the RSM, I decided the RSM was dead.
Maybe the RSM had been on it's way out for some time as it is wired inline with the speed sensor to the ECU, as now I am getting a CEL code 12
Swapped over my EGR valve from my old engine, so hopefully that's all sorted now.
Also removed the silly shift light too! I did like the shift light, just not the MAHOOSIVE rev counter next to it.
Oh, and I have a spare ECU now too, so will see how next week's driving goes...

Turned out the code 12 was caused by a connector not being quite clicked all the way.
This was on the EGR control solenoid valve that is normally located on the passenger side of the engine bay.
She's been a much smoother ride in the low rev range and rattle from the dash has all but disappeared. (The dash has always rattled a little bit since fitting the poly engine mounts.)
