The sunroof is now bolted in and sealed with some clear silicone its not a pretty picture tho needs to be tidied up yet
Image
door panels are also now off and stripped of all wasted wires and parts
Image
sill need to do some more work on the drivers door yet
Image
i had to relocate the hazard switch for the MOT after removing the centre console so here is where ive put that

heres the little hole left from the aerial chucked in a coin i found lol
Image
I never realised how heavy these mirrors actually were i know they were heavy but look at this @craig_jdm
Image
so we set about stripping them down

made up a few small bracket to hold it together

so thats 3 kilos saved by stripping the mirrors lol crazy i could of made it so they were still electrically adjustable but i never move my mirrors so just made them push adjustment.
Heres a few more pics of them n the car ive also fitted my standard spoiler from my black bb4 as im gonna get a little lip kit and do all this in gloss black also so it will all eventually tie in

Wished my old track lude had survived :(
Going to start tracking my lude now though.
Let me know how you get on mate. I really want to do one too but I'm complete n00b. So I want to go with someone to show me the ropes as it were

well race day is 2 days away and i bought myself some new seats i had to drve to watford to get them was around 300 miles in 4.5 hours in the track lude, god its loud in there
but heres what i bought they are a copy of cobra clubmans with 3 point harnesses
Image
they are pretty much brand new no marks on them at all and cost me £117 which i think is pretty fair tbh.
they came with sub frame mounts for a vauxhall nova although the guy was trying to fit them to a robin relliant but didnt fit :?: :? so heres how im making them fit

Today ive removed the runners from the lude seat and tomorrow these will be welded to the square frame for the seat, then ive got to fit the new radiator and do the oil&filter change as well as keep work going

Great word Dan 8)

Yeah, when people are looking to weight-save, wing-mirrors are usually always overlooked. Good job :)
