Re: W1GGZ BB4 Track Lude CBA strip out begins
yeah you only get the vibration on the initial push of the throttle. If you can find the clutch line would be handy mate

Re: W1GGZ BB4 Track Lude CBA strip out begins
Had a really good day at work toay earnt a fair bit of wonga but the jobs were spaced out nicely so gave us some time to do more work on the car, also this sunny weather is brining out the cougars
Heres some pics of what weve done
Ive decided to bolt the original sunroof back in and seal it up but before doing this thought id remove a bit of weight from it

.
its not bolted back in yet still playing with the mounting points.
I didnt want to risk smashing my knee againt where the stereo, cig lighter part of the dash is so that all come out but i wanted to keep a radio in there for the drives to the tracks so heres what ive done

now you can also see the mess of wires that im trying to sort and remove

so after a little while we had removed a fair amount of dead wires credit to my mate wardy he has more patience than me at doing this found the best thing to do was leave him to it.
we haveremoved the wires for aerial, rear wiper, boot light, roof light, sunroof, 3rd brake light, door shut solenoids, seat belt wires, half mast aerial switch, relocated hazard wires, rear speaker cables, old alarm box and this is the majority of the mess

after a tidy up and a bit of masking and rerouting of cables it now looks like this inside

pretty much done on the inside for the moment, gonna play about with the second set of mirrors i have tomorrow see how much lighter we can make them and get the roof in and water tight. Then after the MOT ill get rid of the cruise con from the engine bay and the resonator and i need to source the new rad yet as well.
