Re: Ddoubles TURBO BB4
No I haven't actually but was thinking about it but didn't know which to get either poly inserts or the ones actual mounts from h-tune any advice matewurlycorner wrote:Have you bushed or filled the front and rear mounts? The front one in particular won't last five minutes with that power otherwise!

I think either would do the job Imo. But id probably go with the full mount with that power!! I will be running inserts in mine.

One life, LIVE IT! Get VTEC, LOVE it. Drive a Honda and ENJOY it.

No experience running a poly insert with that power lol, but it's so stiff, I've got no worries about it being able to cope - it's not budging!!!
Also depends how long you want to wait - you can get the inserts within a day or 2, the other mounts will take
a week or so
from the states?

@ddoubledanny
How do you go about moving peak torque up the rev range?
Does increasing peak torque also result in it moving further up the rev range?
Comparison with the NA engine I bought off Dino:

Do you have any plans to get that sorted out? I noticed there is quite a difference in RPM between peak power (7231) and peak torque (5489) so I did the maths (torque x rpm / 5252 = BHP). When you hit peak torque you are only producing 228.0 bhp, like wise when you hit peak BHP you are only producing 190.5lb/ft. Resulting in the rate of power increase dropping off over 5489 rpm.ddoubledanny wrote:
Will have to go back though as daz reckons because the exhaust downpipe is so restrictive it could be holding back as much as 20bhp![]()
