There’s a seller on eBay, trying to convince me 96 months / 72k miles is the official replacement interval for an H22A. The car in question is a 1999 194bhp version. It’s cambelt was last replaced in 2006 at 58k miles.
I pointed him to PerformanceAutoworks post in this thread: http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/honda-p ... 21-10.html = 72 months / 72k miles. But he still insists his owners manual states 96 months.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

The figures I quoted were from Hondas own workshop manual
I take it you are looking at the Chiltern manual?

No there is a full US Honda copy about (I have one) in addition to the UK manuals + supplements. I prefer picking my favourite version out of my library and flicking through the paper pages personally!
And yes, it's 60k miles or 60 months usually. Usually the case with any cambelt cars. Timing chain on my Mazda 6 FTW!
So the fact you had it done at 58k sounds bang on. But I'd look to do it again around 100k personally (120k would be next), especially for the age of the car.
