Good to meet up yesterday David and thanks for the Krispy Kremes.... awesome
I'll not go into all the details about the car as it's not my place to do so but David knows what it needs and doesn't need so that's all that matters.
In all honesty I think the car is a pretty honest one, impossible to say for sure about mileage but when you work on these things day in and day out you tend to get a pretty decent idea of an approx mileage - in this case I would say it's certainly not a high miler.
Yes there are a few things body wise that need doing which David has already started organising such as the paintwork in a couple of places and a damaged front bumper. No signs of any major accident damage was the main thing. Engine was clean internally and felt nice and strong.
Having driven it, checked it over and worked on the car I reckon that David has a cracking base to build from.
Lets not forget that these cars are now aproaching 20 years old...you'll be very hard pushed to find a genuinely perfect one anywhere.
Top car, top fella
Now get yourself booked back in for the full poly bush job
Regards
Rich

Hope this wont put a jinx on things, but after owning my BB4 for a year and a bit its still giving me a kick everytime I drive it.
Just had the MOT done and passed with only a minor handbrake adjustment. Only advisories were to replace the CV gaitors as they are starting to degrade - result (must look up to see if there are any wiki guides to doing gaitor replacements)
Anyway just washed and polished so here are some pictures
