Was beaten to a Fujitsubo a few weeks ago so i did a bit of research on the subject & bided my time.
So, was on ebay this week & saw a "prelude manifold" for sale. Crucially it had the stamp of JASMA on it. My ears pricked up

First problem was, the seller was unwilling to post the item & I was 600 miles away. So i emailed him suggesting that he should agree to post the item as he would open up the possibility of more bidders. He replied saying he was too busy to arrange this so i left it for a day. Still only one bidder so i dropped him another email pointing out how easy it was to arrange delivery and that i was in need of the item to pass my MOT (

Next part was to find out exactly what he was selling. So i did a bit of Poirot internet trawling and discovered that all JASMA approved products have a code which tells you who manufactured it. Then i found a site which tells you the codes & the associated maker. So what i won was made by....
TANABE

Apparently more expensive in Japan than the similar Mugen manifold due to its rarity

£62 well spent i reckon
