Tein EDFC

Hello folks,
Anybody had a play with Teins remote adjustable servo damping kit ?
I saw this system for the first time over the weekend in a mag and liked the idea of being able to have a few presets for damping, one set on soft for cruising around, one for swift b-road driving and one for out n out track use.
Before anybody asks, my car came with tein coil-overs.
Cheers!

I thought about getting EDFC to go with my Superstreets, but it literally takes 2 mins to get out and adjust them....so didn't bother.

Would definitely be a cool bit of kit if you've got the spare money
I'd consider it, but at the end of the day it's extra weight

I sold a complete tein suspension set with edfc to my mate with his type s and I get a regular drive, it's a smart bit of kit and lovely to play with. Takes less than 20 seconds to go min/max.
If it wasn't for the cost I'd like a set for my d2's but like rob said its not hard to get out and manually do it, the only time it's a bonus is if you have already driven off and forgotten to adjust

Haha, more buttons the better! I'll be happy once my cockpit looks like the space shuttle.
In all honesty I see this as a girlfriend friendly mod, I don't think I could get away with adjusting the damping any harder as the gf will go nuts - the calmer I can keep her the better
I'm probably going to be in trouble as it is as I don't think she really understands what the 'benefit' is of adding a supercharger so I am looking forward to her reaction when I mash the throttle for the first time hahaha! Anyway, I could have a soft mode for when we're of out and about & some firmer settings for some b-road blasting.

Nice, was there a noticeable difference between soft and hard settings on those dampers?106pete wrote:I sold a complete tein suspension set with edfc to my mate with his type s and I get a regular drive, it's a smart bit of kit and lovely to play with. Takes less than 20 seconds to go min/max.

Apart from the reason above my mate has a saph cossie and with his dampers set up hard the car cornered on rails but is a bit bouncy and uncomfortable when driven daily, we softened it up but could definitely feel the difference in handling. I think this could be a good way to get both comfort and performance on the fly.
