Given my experiences with Swift, I pray you never have to make a claim.

I think I was with Swift one year. :? I vaguely remember they wanted to charge me for changing my address... not an increase in premium, but a fee for changing... an... address. Said no.

I think most insurers do :(

Direct Line charged £17.50, and it took around 5 minutes time to amend the details over the phone with them. The administrator explained that the £17.50 covers their costs... In light of this, I may well get a job at a call centre as it would appear that the staff are paid £210 per hour!!!!

On a more serious note, does anyone know if Admiral insure grey imports? I'm getting conflicting info on the net, and I cba to phone them and be on hold for decades.

And yes I know Admiral can be jobby, but their multicar insurance is bloody cheap and all my cars are worthless  Got a quote for the Xsara, Accord GSi, Golf, Scirocco and Prelude and it came in at £1500 for me and Laura. Considering that works out £750 per head, and we're both 22, I think that's pretty good. I just have a niggling feeling that they don't insure imports :(

Has anyone tried Adrian Flux insurance?? They basically are an insurance brokers. They do all kinds of policy's,from classic to heavily modified policy's. Have been with them for years with my civic and earlier with my s13 200sx. All mega cheap WITH a CD10 conviction  . My licence is now clean, am 24 and have 4y ncb and am paying 500 for my vti aerodeck with mods declared. Best bit is that my policy has a guarantee to beat any renewal quote. Saving me £250 with my recent renewal. I rate them altho haven't got a quote for the lude yet. And the main reason they said prices vary is as previously said, post code!! Just my 2pence. :)

Oh and on the note of post code prices, before my renewal i moved house to literally two streets down the road. Went from sp11lb to sp12jj and the added 80 flippin quid on to my premium. I asked them why and they told me it was a high risk post code. It was down the flippin road :x

Rob, the woman who pulled out on me was with swift! Its been 7 months and its still not settled......

Also, Adrian flux are who I went to. When you call, ask for the red department. Its the modified cat department. I got my lude all mods declared for £730 and I can add as many mods as I like as long as it doesn't increase the power rating of the car.
