Ah well, she'll forgive me I'm sure. I'll let her have a drive of the cop mustang when it's done if I venture up north, I'm sure that'll help!

Kris / edu, I painted the mustang for £18 with paint from poundland, and painted the trike for £4!! Poundland matt black is great and has an almost satin finish.

we had a busy day today :D

Got an unbranded manifold, pink rocker cover and a solid strut brace
Image

And I threw her in the deep end and said shes doing the rocker cover herself lol.. easy ;)

had to sawp gaskets over
Image

anyway.. we have no pics ove the cover fitted... because we didnt realise it was different lol
the guy we got em off said they came off his D15 but it completely different

the plugs go at the back

anyway, after about 3 hours I EVENTUALLY got the old manifold off !
only 3 bolts came off without any trouble, the rest were soo god damn rusty !
Had to end up heating them up and hammering a 6mm nut over the tip of the bolt to get them off, as the nuts were non existent !

anyway..

the difference

Image

half fittted, need to get replacement bolts
Image

also got a beaks rear subframe

Image

this was a test fit as it actually came off an integra
we will be leaving the brackets on and then taking the bar off to paint it in pink along with the lca's

got more body work done aswell !

the bonnet was crash damaged at the corner

Image

had to go over these dents again

Image

Did you notice the camber has been reset about 2 degrees ?

I wanted more poke and less camber

Image

Image

had to keep building up layers of fiberglass on that arch as it wasnt the right shape !
but its looking good now, just need to sand, cataloy, then dolphin glaze :)
