Does any body know if stainless steel can be polished once is reached this bad stage, have been trying to get a shine back to the maiafold but aint having much luck, am geting the camcover polished next montjs so would be nice to have a maching exhaust lol Image

Alright fella,

Have you tried brasso or something like that? I'm sure someone will suggest something better, but might be a good place to start if you've got some knocking about.

I borrowed some of my dads polish he uses on his motorbike, it works but some ares wont come up shiny just a bit cleaner a friend has told me to sand it back and thennpolish but I dont think ill get the same finnish

Best stuff i found was autosol on a orange compounding foam and a machine polish.

It is good stuff, but polishing by hand wont touch an exhaust header.

I got one a polishing wheel from Halfords, and put it on my drill which is clamped onto a workbench. Used like this it polishes up metal a treat (I've done a valve cover, radiator stays and the battery tie down). Trick is to get a bit of heat into the metal you are polishing and keep it that way till it shines. :D
