Well I got the exhaust fitted eventually :D Had a bit of trouble getting the slide joins in, very tight ;) But after a days work it was all on.

The only other problem I did encounter was the o2 sensor, it was jammed in there tight and I wanted to swap my brand new £80 one in! That, and the fact that I couldn't get it to plug in. After quite a while of trying I decided to live with it until I could get to a garage on Monday.

Dropped the car off today and it turns out the old car side connector had broken off slightly inside the o2 sensor, so that's why it wouldn't fit! They pulled the snapped bit out and "click" it all went together  So thats's why it looked different to mine.

So I'll shortly have a pretty brand new o2 sensor for sale.

So now that's my exhaust all sorted out. And it turns out my ARB itself is worn. I remember being told this back when I had all the poly bushings fitted, it seems that it's finally worn so much the ARB is knocking around in the bushings!

- Refurb and fit new wheels
- Fit new steering column cover
- Redo interior wiring (CarPC/speakers)
- Build and install new CarPC hard drive
- Fit heated seat elements
- Paint rear spats
- Paint plastic sills
- Tidy headlight wiring
- Replace fog bulbs
- Bleed brakes
- Cam cover sealant
- Clean engine bay

Buy:
- Replace VTEC solenoid seal
- Replace camshaft end seal
- Rear ARB, bushings and drop links
- Sound deadening

Didn't manage to get anything else done thanks to the exhaust :(

Oh yeah the bolsters  Having the leather re-done will probably be very, very expensive so I'm going to leave it off the list for now.

But WOW has that exhaust made a difference! The car is a million times more responsive and just pulls like never before. Very pleased 8-)

Nice work on the zaust bud. It is suprising just how much difference you feel with a bit of gas flow improvement.

Yeah, it's a completely different world. I preferred the old one for DD quiteness, but this one is just, wow. Just need to wait for summer for the rest of the jobs now really :(

Glad you are enjoying the exhaust and the extra oomph!

I drive everywhere with the window open now to get surround sound :D

Went to the car this morning and noticed a nice little rust bubble on each arch :(

So stopped by the garage that fixed my rust a while back and pointed it out to them, he said they've had it before where a pinprick size hole has been missed and the rust starts again right on the edge; and he's going to fix it for free! So that made my Friday as not only is it fixed but he's going to double check it all as well :)

Ordered my Whiteline rear ARB, so still waiting for that to be delivered as well, should *fingers crossed* be an easy job to swap over, got new rear drop links as well for it.

And the oil leak seems to have stopped, the oil level doesn't seem to be going anywhere  Very strange. Need to clean the bay up anyway and replace the solenoid/cam end seals just to be safe. Just ordered a Skunk2 cam end seal (I'm a sucker for Skunk2 stuff ) and a VTEC solenoid gasket, as well as a jam nut tool (for adjusting the valve clearances ;) ) so I'll do that all in one go.

If the weather is nice tomorrow I might try and paint the rear spats, and possibly the sills!

Now that's the kind of bodyshop you want to do work to your car. Unlucky it came back, but at least they're covering the costs of redoing it themselves :)

And that's good that you've got new droplinks to fit with your new ARB. That'll make the whole job 10 times easier if the ones on my daily were anything to go by ;-)

That's my thinking, just remove the droplinks and the ARB bushings and the whole thing will come off (well, that's the plan). Might make life easier. Need to get it done ASAP as there's some really funky noises coming frmo back there :|

Yeah they are a really good place, the original work they did was spot on and the paint was blended perfectly.

Got a few parts on the way so with luck get some jobs done and out the way soon.
