I have JDM EL clocks, the K on KM/H has been covered with what looks to be a little piece of black tape. Checked speedo with GPS speedo app on my phone and it's bang on.
VTEC in first might be nice.. ido you think it is likely to be a mission to find, remove and relocate the convertor to the correct position?

Sorry gents, no idea. I've always used UKDM clocks + a spoon chip to save farting about.

Does anyone know if the signal sent from the VSS to the ECU is the same as the signal sent from the ECU to the speedo? Just trying to think of a work around

Yes, I believe the ECU simply reads it and passes it on.

What's stopping us from splitting the signal from the VSS then running one directly to the ecu and the other to the speedo via a converter?
