I've used Shiply for 300 mile trips before, and it always gets to around £1 per mile but if its only 30 miles just try a local self employed recovery guy. Be more like £50!
Or just borrow some plates off a lude in the same colour with t&t and drive it hehe
I did the book it for a mot on phils atr couple weeks ago, so nearly got pulled over but I'm not sure what they class as 'within reasonable distance'? I did about 7-8 miles and a big volvo cop car flew past, slammed on the brakes but carried on. I guess he had bigger fish to catch

I give up, just buy a dam trailer. Think about it, it'll save on fuel driving to track, saves on expensive tyres. Ull always get it home no matter what happens.... Dam it i want a trailer nowMerlin wrote:Yeah I spoke to my dad who knows the owner of the local garage so he is going to esquire for me.
Pete - The car does not drive, the engine has bits missing

Craig I didn't know you had a trailer, good for the future though. Pete I deffo will be getting a trailer at some point, Im not driving the 4G down to England
Anyway panic over and it is all sorted. £90 for a local company to move the car for me. Saves a lot of mucking about. Just wish I had thought of that earlier
