Lot of work gone in to trying to diagnose those engine management faults Bri, well done for sticking with it and best of luck!

Sounds like a result on the job front, great news! :-D

When I bought my first lude years ago, I fully intended to put 6x9s in it, but gave up on that idea in the end when I saw how involved it was going to be, so well done on doing that!

Thanks Iain. The hard work had already been done on the rear shelf, the holes had been cut and covered around the edges with some sticky back lead film stuff. I had to make only a couple of modifications. I could not secure the speakers in situ due to the torsion bars and tight gap between the window so I removed the rear shelf which is MDF. I had to cut a little more shelf away so I could slide in the shelf with the speakers fitted. The cloth that was covering it was horrid, I found those infinity 6x9s and my infinity sub while I worked in the scrap yard along with the Alpine head unit, no inputs on it though, need to update the head unit. I got a box full of old CD players

Also re fitted the centre console. It looks like there was once a serious ICE install in this car, wires and audio leads everywhere, I am happy with the current set up apart form the head unit.

Well I finally got it sorted last week, it was the dizzy. Flat spots gone. Still lots and lots to do, waiting on getting hold of a mig welder now. My zaust is full of holes so that along with the arch repairs is high up on the list of jobs along with valve clearances.

So while I am waiting to get the bigger jobs done I have started pottering about getting some smaller details sorted.

That's about it for now, just got to get this welder sorted.
