Re: my bb4
I've just seen your 'trim' update. Should look sweet with the new material.
As Nuke says, make sure you use the correct type of glue. You could probably tell from my old inserts what happens if you don't.
Here's my write-up. It may give you a few ideas................how not to do it.

I like your lude mate looks fooking spotless!
I too have had a few dabbles at the interior retrim. I used funky foam as a backing behind the material and a spray contact glue. Did the trick nicely. Also got some material and stripped the seat covers off and handed them to a tamed sewing machinest, she kindly stiched the new material over the old and the result was perfic!

£50 material form upholsterererer and £50 labour.

Wow cant believe i missed this. I know we have this 4th Gen 5th Gen banter but i started out on the 4th Gens and thats as stunning as they come really. Not great but ok.
But in all seriousness, bargain, good broken suspension look, redness with no pinkness, LSD greatness, leightweightness. No rustyness.
IMO
Bets thing to do now the weather is getting better is to remove the back bumper and sills and jack the car up, karcher, degrease and underseal with Bilt Hamber Dynax UB and soak those sills and arches with Dynax S50. Unless its already been done.
Protect it from rust as it deserves it.
