get it done mate! does weigh a surprising amount and with it gone, its just one less thing to rust! lol. lift up the carpet in the drivers and passangers footwells and remove the sound deadening, like i said it literally weighs a frickin tonne!

I didn't have the heart to tell him why it didn't work. He asked me to let him know if I fixed it, but thought it would make him feel a bit of a tool..
Yeah its a complete weapon of a car for such little cash..

Couldn't have put it better myself!

As for your retrim, I can help you out bud. I've done mine like 3 times now, trial and error to get it right using different glues, and more experience each time, hence my comment.
Final attempt was perfect - like the pros!
First I use some thin foam to give the material something better to grip to + it adds a nicer feel to the material rather than straight to the metal panels. Exactly this stuff (cheap as chips):

Then it's a case of using the right glue - I used normal spray adhesive for carpet, strong stuff too as my bro is a floor layer. That came up fairly soon after and looked aweful. Next up was Evo-Stick contact adhesive - again didn't hold over time. Then I forked out for the real deal:

It was like £30 when I bought mine a while back - there's tons in one tin though, I've given some to other members at shows who want to do retrims + did some retrimming for a new headboard in my house - still loads left if you want some.

As for the parts list - it's growing!

Like I said, it's probably easier for you to pop round one day (when it's light) and have a nose through the stuff, probably once I've tidied up a bit!

not really an update but after my car was keyed to buggery last week i gave it a good clean,tcut and polish yesterday and it turned out okay!

well ive managed to sort of hide the majority i guess, theres just a big scratch down the passanger side door to get sorted cheers though

lol i love the exhaust! love how it come out at a slight angle even though it is pretty fooking loud lol! cant even imagine how loud yours is gonna be

yeh i guess i was lucky but its one of them things that when you show other people its really hard for them to see but when its your car it stands out like a sore thumb lol at least that extremely young cool looking guy who randomly started talking to us yesterday seemed to like it! lol
