@ratty: mods yes, great idea as it shows the people to ask if you need something club related. something for everyone else is needed yeah? especially for new members.

@tramroad: no one wants to speak to you anyway ;) :lol: but you wouldn't even wear something with the club logo on it and your name? :lol: I think once you got over yourself you might even enjoy people coming up to you and giving you a smile and a hello and thanks for the bit of advice you gave or the part you sorted out for them....

@ crunchy: this is for ice breaking mate, hoodies and tshirts come after icebreaking imho. You ask someone who is wondering what that bloke over there is called to maybe have a chat with him about the lude he's stood next to to cough up a tenner for a tshirt that you will send through the post next week your going to get lots of people walking away from the stand. imho.

@nitin: stop being a racist :x

@ADS1 ;) good skills.

Nitin.... to make up for your racism you need to design a basic sticker. the logo from the banner with twi dotted lines below it. Dark background. Hop to it racist.....

LLL - I agree entirely.
I think t-shirts are an option. Not something you sell during a meet though. I think if we had personalised clothing available on this site many people would buy one, and then automatically wear it for any meets they go to afterwards.
If name badges were a cheaper option then some might choose to get one - again in advance.
Despite being an old git I'm generally quite shy so don't put myself forward with introductions. Yesterday my main way of recognising anyone was by knowing the cars from pictures posted on here. It would have been a big help to have names displayed.
The stickers would work and they are maybe something that could be sent out with tickets to ensure everyone has the opportunity to wear one without any real cost.
Apart from Nitin..... a, because he's a racist and b, because he apparently never turns up!! :lol:
Only joking Nitin. I know he does exist, and makes appearances, as I have met him. 8-)

I was thinking lanyards too. Not that I've been to any meets yet, but I'd buy a club lanyard/ pass regardless.

But then I'd also be up for buying a club polo shirt, hoodie, hat or whatever else is available. I'm a sucker for merchandise
