im going to have a nosey today as was out with the missses last nite. will try to get pics up used to be abel with me phone but cant remember how i did it
. now my m8 says its comen from top of filter he took it of and the cooler and was saying about there was a threaded bit up inside but with no bolt in it seems bit strange to me as why is it threaded. will have a look today any how and report back.

Doesn't sound right to me
Oil cooler usually just needs a new o ring.

The pipes going to the oil cooler are the coolant lines
.. thats what stabilizes "cools" the oil circulating through the oil filter.
