seen as this is a honda prelude owners club if you come to a show in anything other than a prelude should it be on a prelude club stand or in the public car park or a stand that most fits the make or model ?
this is not a pop at anybody as this includes me coming in a hyundai coupe so please don't be offended if you too are coming in something else.

Quite simply, yes.
We are not an elitest club where we shun everything else if it is not a Prelude.
This club is more about socialising and meeting up with each other, so who cares what people turn up in? We have Rob who is in the middle of a build, James who has had to take his car off the road for the year, among others.
By banning them from the stand, people will just start giving us the big "f you" when it comes to shows and our numbers will de line. Personally I have no problem with it, we will try and park non ludes in on corner of the stand with all lures at the front so the emphasis is still there on the car that makes the club.
But moreover, it is the people that make this club, not just the car they arrive in.

i totally agree it is the people and obviously not being in a position to take my car there either im put off coming tomorrow as i don't want to be stuck in a field in the rain and not be able to at least sit in the car around fellow members when the heavens open up but "lude generation" as the name suggests is a prelude club at the end of the day which i think should have preludes on its stand.
i may be in the minority its a 7 day poll and obviously will run until after japfest but it will be interesting to see what people think.
i spend more time on here than facebook
so even if i no longer owned 1 im sure i would still come on here to annoy my new found friends but i wouldn't book a stand pass if i knew i was coming in something else.

any thing goes from me
it has already been said but meets for us are about the members not their cars
if you got a working lude bring it, if it's off the road get there anyway you can
if you have sold up doesn't mean you have to move on and if you haven't owned one yet then let us convert you
it's all about the people and having a laugh and a nice time and a mutuial interest in the prelude wether you have one or not

I know what you're saying Phil and agree to a point, but think of it more of a "LudeGeneration" stand as aposed to a "Prelude" stand
As said, the non-Preludes will be quarantined to their own little corner, so you can just think of that as the LG carpark too! Posh ay?

I think only when the number of Non-Preludes outweighs the number of Actual Preludes does something need to be said
Plus I think any Honda is fine anyway

LO
I agree with Gayno too
I think non-Ludes can me parked-up to the rear of the stand with the Ludes to the front ( Def has to be Jap though , we got to have some standards
)
I will be booking with you guys for JAE this year as Midlands Honda is no more
but my mate has a Mitsi Legnum so i hope he can camp with you peops and park his motor accordingly
Cheers
