If its true that the 4G was designed in Cali you an certainly see it expressed in the font.

Its just another way to distinguish that the 4th was the best of the lot, 4th is unique in every way, the 5th is based on 1980's style which dawned the likes of the ford cortina, vauxhall cavalier, all square boxes with very little styling.

To respond, I could easily say something the lines of "or they realised it was a mistake and they reverted to a tried and tested design". Point is we could do this all day and get nowhere and the only progress anyone makes is twisting their knickers further.

As said its all just worms wriggling out of a can.

Personally I like the 4G, having seen Phil's it's a beaut

far too much rivalry for the sake of it in this thread, too many opinions (dare I say?) being spouted as fact.

This is all just my opinion though.

The 5th gen is a more refined car but youd expect some improvements over the 4th - performance wise there is nothing in it - apart from the Type S which is where the 5th gen H22's should have started from imo. 4th vs 5th looks wise they are such different looking cars it almost impossible to compare them so why even try

I do like the fact that Ayrton Senna had input into the 4th gen - you cant get cooler than that imo

No Seriously the Chief designer was Masahito Nakano under the lead supervision of a larger project headed by Masato Tezuka.

Thanks, Ratty - I'll have a good look over the weekend as there is some fantastic stuff there.

Did you find out anything about the alleged V4 the 5G was meant to have? Apparently it would have been seriously fast and that's why the eventual engines weren't updated.

It would be hard to compare as the economics of buying a new car may have changed between the periods, or increased comptetition might have altered demand for the Lude (ATR, S2K etc...). Although I doubt many UK buyers would have been buying new from Japan

I know my BB4 entered the country in 2007.
