It was too bloody cold for a wednesday afternoon clean today so i finished fitting the GReddy Oil Catch can. Probably got frost bite in the fingers, it was snowing!

I decided to fill the can with 4 metal pan scourers, less than a pound for 6 of them from Wilkinsons and cheaper than a few metres of chain. Also decided to have the connectors coming out at an angle rather than straight down as i reckon it looks better and was easier to keep the tubing together.

When the weather warms up, i must have a got at tacking the rocker cover.

A quick clean today, no products on it, just washed and dried :love10:






Also fitted the Psepc knob to keep my hands warmer in this cold weather...

And there we are...all up to date.

Some more to come as and when i can be arsed to do it, including rocker refurb and a front & rear lip - although the rear may be a problem with the mudflaps.

Are you going to wrap your manifold?

Solid Fabs don't recommend wrapping if I remember correctly due to it potentially affecting the welds, I think a ceramic coating is ok.

The original ATR manifold doesn't have a heatshield anyway, so I guess there much difference in engine bay heat now. I may still get it wrapped one day though.

Love the manifold, it's sooo shiny just like your car..

If you wrap the manifold then the warranty drops from lifetime to just one year.

It's second hand anyway knitting, so I doubt there is any warranty. Although I will probably still visit Alan anyway if any work needed doing as he knows the system.

He lives only ~20 miles from me so I'll defo go see him for my exhaust.. Even though it's only 20miles it takes more then an hour in traffic and congestion.

Didn't know that. Just bought some wrap as well dammit! I couldn't wrap my manifold anyway (I spent a large chunk of the morning driving around different motorfactors or garages and nowhere had any metal cable ties or locking wire ). Might hold off now
