All I can think is that insurance companies don't car about existing customers and just want new ones :roll:

My past insurance has been;

0-1 yrs Admiral
1-2 yrs Admiral
2-3 yrs Direct line
3-4 yrs Bell (owned by admiral)
4-5 yrs AXA
5-6 yrs Swift cover (owend by AXA)
6 yrs to current Adminal

Other than the first renewal I had, they've always had excessive renewal quotes circa +30% increases

I was amazed how cheap Swift were, the year I went with them they were a clear £200 cheaper than anything else I could find :shock: it's a quick form so could be worth a punt...

Nope.

Fully comp with mods declared now :D

If you go with Admiral, Bell or Elephant (all same company and also own confused.com) watch the increase for month payments. Usually goes up about 40%. I was quoted £469 in 1 payment, or £61 a month circa £720 per yr. Still a good price with mods declared but worth watching

Yeah that's what I was looking at... if I pay monthly it goes to just under a grand. Bastards. I can't remember the last time I had a positive bank balance, let alone enough to buy insurance in one go :lol:

My insurance has just gone up by £100 on account of the missus's accident in the JDM last year :evil:
Looked at taking her off and it still went up! (by £40).

Basically, a woman that hasn't had a crash saves you money*, a woman that's had one, costs you!

*insurance only!
