I know what people are saying that these are obvious things to do, but if the lude was running fine before the engine was removed, is it likely these have suddenly failed?Danni22 wrote:Hmmm I think ill need to check a few things then...
Where's the best place to buy all the parts ie; dizzy Leads ect..
Are 8mm leads worth the cost?
Have you got any light wired up to act as the CEL? If not, might be worth connecting that up and seeing if any codes have been stored?

To do that is it just the case of jumping the blue connector? If so iv done that and none are stored
Iv not exactly touched the engine or engine wiring
Iv done the manual conversion
New TPS
Removed carbon canister
Removed the vacuum purge valve that was also on the canister
70mm Cold air feed with filter
And I fitted a 255lph fuel pump with a new inline fuel filter

If you were holding the throttle open the whole time, that hasn't changed state when it starts spluttering so that won't be the problem.
Yeah, the blue connector is the one. So you have light connected and visible then? I'm surprised it hasn't stored any codes
What lude did this come out of again? Was it a JDM or UKDM? Were there any other sensors on the lude that you haven't used or have fitted differently? (Wondering if this is knock sensor related?)
