WAMT- now this has seriously tested the limits of my self control today, its not very often that i have a day free to get stuck into something but today was such a day, so i thought id fit my new mani and downpipe, started at 10am, i had been spraying all the bolts i could get to for a couple of days with wd40 just incase, and tbh the manifold bolts came out fairly easy!

Thats where easy ends, every other single bolt/nut/bracket or fixing i had to drill cut or grind to get off, to top all that off it started raining halfway through! i spent nearly three hours on my back in the rain, with the lude an inch above my face trying to cut nuts off with my dremel and half a dozen cutting disks, after plenty of swearing and bloody knuckles it finnally came off, at 4.00pm! but i thought thats the hard part done i just needed to bolt the new one in and thats it :) Wrong, JDM cat backs are two inches longer than usdm or ukdm ones! the next part of my day is bleeped out but ive had to leave the lude manifoldless till tomorrow and borrow me mams corolla :( and ill have to suspend the cat back with steel wire or something untill i can buy a ukdm catback!

Very annoying day, but hay ho, had fun doing this!

The only way to get those off is with intense heat. They are all bastards.

well had the day off and the missus to pass spanners and make tea today so i thought id finnish bodging my ukdm mani and decat to my jdm cat back (until my BC catback comes at the end of the month) it was a bit of a pain and part of the exaust doesnt sit in the exhaust tunnel anymore but it works and will be fine for a couple of weeks :)
