Big big difference from those 2 clutches, if you like an aggressive clutch and appreciate its not for town traffic and will not last more than 10k before being replated them do it.
I'm happy with my xtd, but make sure you remove the clutch damper and fit a direct flexi line to eliminate it.

Dare I put it out there, but I have an XTD stage 4 clutch - it's a sprung version as opposed to solid. Brand new in box for a good price.

My stage 3 after it was replated

The biggest problem with them is some rivets are wonky and soon wear down to contact the flywheel, in general the guy who did mine was very impressed with the quality.
Robs stg 4 will be pretty hardcore but do not use the 1and 2 stage, they are not rated very well by the yanks.

I had an ACT 6 puck sprung paddle clutch on mine. I loved it, it was epic, it just bit really really well, no slippage what so ever and I mean it. However it was ok around town too, just remember to give a little more throttle when pulling away. But of practice and it can be as smooth as you like.
Mine was mated to an ACT Prolite flywheel.
Cheers!
