Nope, but it doesn't take much for the pump to fail. Typically, the gears will wear on each other within the pump and the swarf from this will stick the PRV open.

This stops the pump building pressure to circulate and the pumps had it. Probably won't take much discrepancy in the design tolerance of the gears turning at 3,000rpm for 100,000 miles before things start to wear and this happens...

Congrats, you getting any work done before putting it in? New oil pump maybe? ;)

Newkid is very helpful, he's helping sort out my new header too.

yeah im sending it off to paw to get the oil pump, cam belt etc and merlins....errr my shiny head and intake mani fitted to it :lol: along with fitting my new clutch,flywheel and traction bar 8-)

Unfortunately not no.

Could use the Mazda with a solid tow hitch if you like though
