its not far from me but would have to sell the lude first but with great regret that is lol just canna afford to run it anymore but will see how everything goes

Unless you mean the Lude is in need of a lot of expensive repairs, the Civic isn't going to cost you any less to run.

However I think they're quite cool, but then I've always been a fan of estate cars. (GF thinks I'm really an old man......maybe why I drive a 5th gen)

My first (and second) cars when I was 17 - 19 were estate cars

My trusty Nissan Sunny fastback estates. Loved 'em (particularly loved burning the twats in their XR2i's off the lights too). 1.5 n/a carb with more grunt than the 1.6 EFi in those rust buckets (CVH engines really are absolute crap)

Always loved Estate cars, probably why I'd rather have a Stagea than a Skyline!

I currently have one of these (in silver) sat on the front drive, waiting for funds and time to put back on the road...

They don't come much bigger than that...

Not sure whether this one was an official conversion or not. It might well have been

EDIT: nope, thought about it some more and I don't think it is, 'cause they've used the front half of a saloon for some reason - Hullieuz wouldn't have done that.

They are great, but not to state the obvious, dont expect a comparable drive to the lude.
I always enjoy driving the Aero, and get a bit spoilt by how comfortable it is (stock suspension/wheels etc) but the steering in particular leaves a bit to be desired. You get back in the lude and realise how good it is.

That said, as an everyday steed with a decent boot, roof bars and obviously a good engine (when you wring its feckin neck), they are great.

I've always though these looked like a total after thought design wise, like they couldn't be arsed to redesign the rear end so just stuck a bit more roof and a hatchback boot on the saloon

I can see what you mean Ammo, the way that rear window doesn't follow the line of the B pillar etc.

There's so many estates like that

Much cheaper to do it that way though I guess.

The whole rear door and gutter line is different on that CX (just as an example 'cause I posted it in the thread) so it does look like it's meant to be there from the outset, but it's a much more expensive way of doing it.

Kinker on UKSAABS is highly thought of on the Forum. I am sure you can buy from him in confidence. Always seemed to have wee gems up for sale when I frequented the forum. MB6 looks is fantastic condition - tried to get a mate to buy one of these but instead opted for a 2 litre Accord SE

. He is only 28 too
