Pulling to the left

Yeah i think thats right. Not sure that its even giving a code though as i just tried the reset thing with the steering wheel holding it 45 degrees and then turning it etc, and i noticed the 4ws light would start flashing erratically when i turned the wheel left towards the center position, like there is a loose connection somewhere.

This is starting to become a bit of a headache!

what type of steering wheel do you have?

yeah it is thought maybe someone had put an aftermarket one on and maybe damaged the clockspring

Whats the clockspring? i saw something on another forum about someone who changed the steering wheel and it wasnt long enough or something, and his indicators wouldnt auto-off either. my indicators only auto-off one side.

I was also gonna check all the connections and possibly look into resoldering the 4ws ecu.

Sorry if that made no sense but i think my brain has melted this afternoon trying to get to the bottom of this!

the clockspring is the rotating electrical connector between the steering wheel and column you will get it sorted buddy i am sure one or two others will chime in with suggestions soon

Yeah i hope so mate!

To be honest im not even bothered about having 4ws, but it would seem the general consensus is that its not safe to drive it if there is a fault with the 4ws.

Might look into converting it to 2ws if i cant get the problem sorted.

i have a bb4 and a 4ws 5g the bb4 has the turning circle of a battleship compared to the 4ws

When my 4WS had a hissy fit a few weeks ago it was definitely noticeable

usual 3 point turn on my dads drive turned to about 7

I have never driven a 4ws, so im guessing it will take some getting used to when i finally get it sorted!
