Yeah that will be the lack of FITV. 30 seconds of partial throttle should be enough to get her going though?ddoubledanny wrote:
Thanks guys but my idle is rough in the morning.Everytime it's cold and you start the Lude you have to rev her slightly for maybe 10 seconds to stop her stallingnucleustylzlude wrote:This /\ Oh and it may not be rough if it's been tuned well.Merlin wrote:Those pipes are for the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve). More than likely the previous owner hase rerouted the coolant lines so the throttle body isn't in contact with hot coolant. I take it your idle when cold is a little rough?
Great pic up bud, very nice spec right of the cuff.
I remember that the car was tuned, and made mid 220's I believe.

Re: Ddoubles new bb4
Yeah thanks I have always preferred the de-wipered back end looks sleekermercutio wrote:very nice matey liking the dewipered look

Cheers bud yeah most of the parts from my old lude are going on thisnucleustylzlude wrote:She looks a very clean example, and nice mods so far - most brought over from your old lude then?

Yeah bud you only have to hold the idle at about 1500 rpm for a few seconds.Mid 220s you say I don't rele know I do know it pulls like a train low down which my a5 didn't do.I can feel the difference lolMerlin wrote:Yeah that will be the lack of FITV. 30 seconds of partial throttle should be enough to get her going though?ddoubledanny wrote:
