Supposed to be 120 Mb, so not too bad, and cheaper than our last provider who gave us 10Mb

I've read that if the bell wire (orange IIRC) is connected to the back of your BT faceplate it can seriously slow your connection down. It only requires 2 wires connected these days, the bell wire is obsolete.

Maybe the new faceplate has been wired up this way...

i've just changed to bt infinity, upto 38mb, just tested and got 7.51 and 2.79... hmmmm.

My "upto" is 120mb. Ive yet to see it =p Ive seen 98mb/s, but to be fair... i dont utalise all of that!
