Agreed, very basic item.
Phil, trace the main pieces and speak to Pete, he'll gladly knock some up for the masses. Gutted I couldn't get one for my setup in the group buy.

it also moves the alternator lower to where the A/C pump was. I did this as i a am a little anal about getting as much weight as low down as possible

youve still not said where the battery is - ive had to read most of your profile to find it still hasnt been disclosedlucas wrote:good read phil
so... where DID you put the battery?

BIG brakes (fronts)

well after knobbing about with the Evo calipers i decided it really wasnt worth the hassle to get them machined to fit
sooooooooooooo i purchased @ammos old Hi-spec monster 335x32mm conversion!
the disc's are ballsed and i had a set of special honda disc in the garage that are 320x32mm
the sizes comparisons old 282mm vs new (abliet a little rusty 320mm's

Girth

Hi specs vs 320mm

so after a little knobbing around and moving the bracket to a suitable side of the hub i hit the jackpot and found a position where no spacers were needed to centralise the disc in the caliper.

Happy!
Now i confirmed my maths and found they fitted as expected i needed to fit the pads and measure how far off the outer edge of the pad vs the outer edge of the disc was, the math say 7.5mm.
Mocking this setup showed that was very close considering the size of chamfer on the discs edge!

I now know that 7.5 mm needs to be taken of the bracket to allow the pads to make full contact with the disc, easily done on a milling machine!
Finally the part that i was most nervous about, wheel clearances! The picture dont do it justice to just how tight this is, i would say 1-1.5 mm

i am not really worried about this aspect as when the brackets are machined down this will increase due to the shape of the spokes
Finally how the look behind the wheel

I know the really need a refurb, i'll be doing that shortly
