My Lude still leaks like a sieve so lets hope for no rain then. Any chance of seeing you floating about Bradley Stoke then?

Lol, on my first Accord, the wiper motor went, so i was driving round in the pissing rain to scrappies trying to find anywhere that was breaking one (in the days before the internet).bb4life wrote:do what i did with the landrover, tie a length of string to each wiper, and hae it coming through each window, its not as efficient as the real ones, but works as a temporary fix
My mate was in the passenger side with one end of the string and me driving with the other. The string snapped whilst i was doing around 70

One of my previous cars was an AC 2-litre. These had separate wiper motors attached to the inside of the screen. The drive spindles were fitted with small knobs for manual operation. Just the job!bb4life wrote:do what i did with the landrover, tie a length of string to each wiper, and hae it coming through each window, its not as efficient as the real ones, but works as a temporary fix
