Merlin - i'll try and get some pics today, working nights so makes it little harder, failing that defo wednesday.
4thgenphil - I think its stock bar an FM shifter which has been sold, yellow silicone coolant hoses, body kit and wheels but i'll have a good look when i next head down there.
Lucas- sorry man its only a stock bonnet of my lude, not C/F unfortunatley.
Senninha - the headlights are the facelift silver ones but the 1 piece plastic lense's off an import, still interested?
K30DPC- can't remember if its got the half mast arial, i'll let you know when i next go down.
Monceris- PM replied.
Rodanmk2- Sorry bud the skirts have already been claimed but i'll let you know if that falls through.

i'd have to agree its a shame to be breaking but there is a fair amount of rust coming through in various places some of which is getting very bad, would take a hefty amount of work to get it back to its former glory, plus between us we've got nowhere to keep it now :(

DAMN.

No worries man - if your skirt buyer falls through though I'll take them.

Cheers.

I have one of those front bumpers already but what do you want for that one?

...and I'll go 2nd dibs on those skirts if for whatever reason all buyers fall through.

Right after speaking with the other chap he wants to try and sell the kit as a whole then if it doesnt sell split it up. There is a potential buyer for the lot just waiting to hear back so i'll keep the thread updated.

Merlin i've sent some pics of the wing over but there not the best so i'll get a few more along with other bits in the week.
Phil the only goodies it has are what i've already said plus an aftermarket steering wheel which i'll get some better pics when i next head down.
K30DPC- It has got the half mast arial but i think the arial/motor has had it, what are you after?

I'm looking for known good working replacement. But if it's motor fault for 100% then I can make working one with this and parts from my old aerial, which has damaged mast.

I dont know if its the motor or what tbh, the guy who owns the car said its never worked and its jammed half way up. im guessing theres a difference between the aerials which had the half mast and ones which didn't? Found another motor/aerial in the loft earlier on but not sure if it came from a lude with or without half mast.

As for the bodykit its up for grabs if anyone wants the lot, if theres no interest in that he'll then split it up and sell seperatley.

cheers

There is a difference in half mast aerials, yes (though IIRC from doing so on my first lude, you can fit a half mast one to a car that doesn't have half mast switch and vice versa - just operates as full mast one)

Externally there's no difference other than the plug has 3 pins rather than 2. Same plug and connector housing though, hence interchangeable.

That is thinking back 10 years or so though...

Well... not exactly wurly I'm affraid.

Here is a picture. I made it from two downloaded but it show what we need. On the left is standard one and on the right half mast one.

Standard aerial uses 3pin connector. There is +battery voltage, ground and remote from radioplayer. Half link one uses 4pin connector and there is extra signal from the switch. Also have some small control box screwed to the mast housing.

As far as I know half link aerial without switch signal will extend only to it's 50% of lenght. And due to different connector they aren't P&P interchangeable. But with small modifications it's possible.
Also I believe masts itself are different, but I'm not 100% sure. Half link use slightly longer one. My mast is broken (quite common fault) and ebay replacement doesn't fix the problem.

Yeah, there's the extra relay box on the half mast one, but I definitely fitted a half mast one to my non half mast car and it worked.

I've obviously remembered wrong about the connectors being the same though and must have cut and spliced the wiring to get it connected.

I don't remember if it only came up half way or full extent, because I wasn't on the lude 'scene' back then so wouldn't have had anything to compare my length with ;)

Haven't looked at the wiring diagram again, but I'd expect you could set it to either come up half way or full extent, depending on which pin you connect the 'up' feed to? Anyway  for most people I'm sure!
