Does anybody have a Hondata base map for a 4g jdm 2.2 lude they could email me please?
the disk it comes with has one for a "Prelude" but doesn't really specify what gen, litre, etc.
Thanks

The one you've got on the disk is most likely a H22 base map, although I've heard it's not very good.
I have Neptune base maps, or could paste a screenshot of the ignition maps if that would help. The fuel values will be different, but fuel is pretty easy to base tune with a wideband anyway.

I've got a very nice map indeed bud - should be perfect for you. Not a generic basemap either, someone at some point paid £350 for CPL to fully map it. Only thing you may need to add is the IAB control and settings as this is from a P28. I see you picked up a P72 that's all.
Glad you picked up the Hondata in the end though - good deal and the V2 was a bonus.
PM me your email and I'll sort you out.

Guys... just be careful when you start swapping maps !!
Even if the map you are supplied or supplying is calibrated for essentially the same spec of engine -eg JDM with intake and exhaust - the two can and most often are very different.
Even if the calibrations are similar for two different engines/setups the "new map" should only ever be treated as a BASE MAP to tune from.
Also don't forget that even if you do get a good map supplied you will still need to set up your base timing, throttle etc. Failing to do so can lead to a good base map being a mile out and damaging your motor.
TUNING is the ONLY way to ensure that the calibration is right for you and to get the best out of your motor, after all that's why you bought a mappable ecu in the first place right!!!

taken on board mate

thanks very much!
it will be as you say a base map for the friend of mine to start mapping from - he does Subaru's and RX7's mainly but has been tuning for about 5 years at least now.
Thanks again for the PM rob - ill await your email with excitement lol
