OBD to iPhone/iPad/iTouch

Just seen that you can now connect your OBD2 (5th gen's) to your iPhone/iPad/iTouch..

You need to buy the cables which cost around £100ish though.

But after you get them there is so much you can do and it looks cool in you car too..

What kind of port does the 5th gen have then?

Only the US 5th gens have the 16pin port required. The rest have a 3 pin connector:

harness may be removable from a usa 5th gen, but not likely to find out

Do you reckon we could swap our blue pin connector for a 16 pin connector like the one that iPod needs.

Or is that impossible

Think you'd need the whole loom from a USDM car, if it was easy I think quite a few people would have swapped the connectors already
