do you mean 'how to de-limit a Type S? as in the 112mph limiter?
if so I think the easy way is convert to MPH and loose vtec in first gear. you then have the ability to topspeed the car.

You'll likely want to wire a switch in that will allow you to enable the converter once you're out of 1st. I think that's your only way out here, as aftermarket ecu options will loose the ATTS iirc.

VTEC in first and unlimited top speed.
I don't know how but it's been done for me but the speedo is still in KPH

have you checked your ecu to see if it was chipped, would the past owner have got it done

I don't think you can 'Chip' Type-S ECU.
