Guys if I swap out my current ecu for Obd1 will it start the car?
Do I need anything else or just a 4th gen ecu?
Any help with this would be great, if anyone's got an import ecu obd1 laying about I am reliably inform there is No immobilizer on it? That right?

Your right there is no immobiliser on OBD 1, though you'll need a wire harness converter to go from OBD 2 to 1. You may also have to change the injectors? though I'm not totally sure on that.

Okay this is promising, anyone know about the injectors? Anyone got a harness?

you need injectors obd1 345cc from 4 gen + resistor box + obd1 injectors plugs if you going to use obd2 engine harness
obd1 dizzy and there will need to rework on conectors if you going to use obd2 engine harness
obd1 ecu such as p13 jdm from manual car + ecu jumper harness obd2 -> obd1

5th gen injectors are saturated, where as 4th gen are peak hold. The physical difference other than the injectors themselves being the resistor box on the 4th gen. So if you want to run an OBD1 ECU in a 5th gen you'll need to install this resistor box.

So will a 1993 2.0 ecu work? Part number 37820-p11-g50541-100335?
And then harness?
Are we thinking that the injectors will be from the 4th gen? Are these a direct fit?

this ecu will not work if we talking about your h series engine.
injectors are direct fit

Right so I am baffled, if I get the harness to convert it to obd1
What else do I need?
Please treat your answer as if you are explain it to a two yr old cause I have a headache trying to work any of this out. Its taken me this long to work out I could even use this type of fix

I have a 2.0 engine.. So which ecu should I get?
