Done all the wiring to put my sub in, foolishly didn't check the size before hand though as this is pre fitting:

I've had to remove the spare just to get it to fit, the carpets been pulled in too :L may have to get a smaller sub or just don't have a spare

does look quite good at that angle though

What about if you put it on its side? Does it fit then?

Doesn't fit any other way haha. It's too tall on its side, can't put it further forward cos the boot doesn't close either haha.
Wired it all up to make sure it works and it doesn't :/ powers there, earths good. May be dodgy RCA cables but inhavent connected the blue cable as it doesn't saybto in the Sony wiring diagram and I don't think there's a place to connect it on the stereo :/
The amps always been a bit temperamental, didn't turn on straight away when I installed it on the fiesta, might turn on randomly soon haha

That blue cable will be the power on, remote power or something it's called. Basically tells your amp to turn on.
It'll splice in to one of the wires coming out the back of your head unit, I used to bullet connector mine in.

Oh, on the diagram for the stereo it has a Remote in slot, im guessing its for that. Man why cant it says to wire that too :L

Nah, they'll all need it dude, or the amp would be on all the time and destroy your battery
According to the internet, the Sony should have a blue and white wire to do this (goes live when the stereo is on). There will also be a blue only wire, but that's for the electric aerial (only goes live when the radio is on).
