Sorry ai I have that box so no issues with that one. I think I have one wire I put in that wasn't too sure about I'll take that out tonight see if that helps.

So one step forward. Have removed the dimmer box altogether as mines never had a dimmer in it at all and I now have full and correct power to the fuel/temp dials and I have the mileometer and needles on on the dials.
You mentioned an extra earth was this one you added?

Dimmer box, is it the one behind the temp/fuel gauge?

Left mine out too and got the full illumination,my odometer would also stay off with it connected...

Yes that's the one, yours might have it but mines didn't so will keep mine without as I prefer the full brightness.

yeah I will be leaving mine out also. I just need to find out why my dials wont light up.
