I've been doing a bit of research on this but I'm no Auto Electrician so would need to be validated by an expert.
It looks like the 5th Gen Lude's have ODB2A and 4th's have ODB1, the Bluetooth senders are for ODB2B so wont work as the connectors are different. Searching on other forums there are cases that people have used the Boomslang harness to convert A to B so that might work but they are pricey at $125 just to test out a hunch there might be ebay harnesses or other vendors for anyone wanting to try to get this working. Oh and there are even harnesses for converting ODB1 to ODB2 so it might even work on 4th Gens.

You then need the Bluetooth sender to connect to the harness and send your ECU data to the iPhone/iPad/Android device. Here are a couple that were recomended on another site:

http://www.odbkey.com
Another way which looks a little more complex (but cheaper!) involves soldering the Bluetooth sender into the ECU and setting it to send data from the ECU on certain baudrate settings. Here is a link to the only guy I could find that has it working on a Honda.

Hope this helps
